VCF Academy receives double call-up for Spain under-19

Two VCF Academy members have been called up by Spain under 19 which was announced earlier today by the RFEF. Jesús Vázquez and Javi Guerra have been called up by Santi Denia. Rubén Iranzo had been initially called up but he had to pull out with injury.
Jesús Vázquez and Javi Guerra will participate in a mini training camp during the first few days of September in La Nucía and Benidorm where Spain under-19 will play two friendly meetings against Mexico on the 3rd and 5th of September next month.
The left-back Jesús Vázquez has been a permanent fixture moving up through the Spain youth ranks with his latest call-up back in February, whilst the Gilet midfielder ears his first call-up for Spain.
The Picanya born centre-back had initially made the call-up but he informed the RFEF that he was unavailable through injury and he has been withdrawn from the call-up.
The VCF Academy players keep being at the heart of Spain youth system call-ups like the likes Yarek Gasiorowski, Hugo de Mateo, Carlos Igual and Dani Sánchez in their double meeting against France under 17.
